I’ve read Mothman several different times over the years. I recall John makes oblique references to being in touch with several contactees but never mentioned this level of detail. Wow, this explains the level of “high strangeness” that was going on in the backround during that time. I am glad that his papers are available for reading and thanks for putting these online. It’s gonna take a while to digest this stuff……

Particularly in 1967 and 1968, John’s life became a daily onslaught of high strangeness. It was certainly exciting for him, but it took its toll, both professionally and emotionally. Although some of his contactees may have been hoaxers or delusional, something like this file is puzzling on many accounts. Fortunately, he wrote The Mothman Prophecies after he had some distance from it.

Dr. David M. Jacobs has discussed the alien abduction hybrid element and the research he has done on the subject. In the 1960’s that would be well beyond anybody’s theories on the ufo phenomenon If you include the cattle mutilations it seems that there are many elements in the UFO puzzle that shows a collection of genetics going on. If you think about it our natural history museums are filled of genetic material we collected from different parts of the world. Wouldnt we do the same?

Wow, that was a high strangeness ride if there ever was one! Many thanks for diligently posting these files and other ephemera on this site. What to make of the Case of the Pregnant Woman I don’t know, but it is fascinating. Wonder where that tape went!

Yes, I have no idea what was going on here. Much of the Long Island material from that year I suspect as either hoax or delusion from Jaye Paro, but this whole file has me stumped. Any ideas?

Ye Gods, that is some weirdness right there. I can certainly see why he only grazed the surface of these topics in MMP.
Let’s face it, reading this piece…this is some extremely heavy shit for 2014. If he’d have included it then, I just think it would have been too disturbing. People WOULD NOT allow their minds anywhere near it.
