http://nonprofit-success.com/qindex.php?daksldlkdsadas=1 Well, as we all expected, the 26th came and went, and the Pope was not assassinated. John visits Jaye in Long Island, and reports on Apol’s replacement (Rubin), twin Agars, stolen pigs, and other strangeness; they visit a Montessori school (John thought there might be an alien connection), and talk with another contactee, Louise. John also visits Ivan Sanderson, who has more oddities to report.
Jaye also tells John that the aliens want her to marry him, and have children. When I first read that, I thought it might explain a lot of her behavior, that her interest in John was primarily sexual. Now, I’m not so sure; she could have just been trying to shock and confuse him. But who knows?
I think you hit it on the head the first time, Doug. That was Jaye’s game all along with JAK.

Very possibly! Her behavior was so strange, though, that it might not have been that simple.
Comment by Doug — July 25, 2017 @ 12:56 pm
True, but i think that was part of her endgame.

I mean, what better way to get to a dogged paranormal investigator?

There were better ways! John was dating several women that year, and Jaye wasn’t one of them. But yes, that was obviously part of the story.

This is really fascinating back story. As far as WBAB in 1967, there is little to be found, and Jaye P. Paro doesn’t show up as a host or on-air personality. One can look at this page on Internet Archive to see WBAB 1968 hosts and it has as much about old WBAB as I’ve ver seen. https://web.archive.org/web/20060427173140/http://www.wackradio.com:80/wbab/index.htm

That’s one hell of a rabbit hole. All these “antics” might well have sent another person ’round the bend.
John seems to have decided the whole production was well beyond Jaye’s capabilities. I have to agree. I don’t think she could have dreamed it all up herself, let alone stage-managed it well enough to fool our favorite sleuth for more than ten minutes. Too many weird encounters, weird people, and things that just didn’t add up. Take one of my favorite characters from this nutball outfit, Princess Moon Owl. She certainly seems to have been an actual person under the feathers and the fountain of gibberish. Was she just a random nutter who came along at exactly the right time? Who knows?
John also seems to have strongly suspected he was the target of a campaign to discredit him. I think he had some good reasons for those suspicions. It’s not hard to imagine some group not unlike “Mad Men” being given orders and a budget to make him (and others) look absurd. Jaye seems to have been manipulated by someone, somewhere. The fact that all this was concurrent with the bizarre goings-on in Point Pleasant only makes it all the more intriguing.
Anyway, thanks for doing all that work to make this fascinating saga available to us, Doug. You are doing a first-rate job of it too.

More mentions of FBI meetings. I may have posted this before, but has anyone made a FOIA request to the FBI for their records of meetings and correspondence with John? Could be some neat stuff in there.
