BTW, regarding The Mothman Prophecies and the fiction that creeped into the movie versus the book, there’s a significant date this week to ponder this a bit more.

One similarity with Chernobyl and Point Pleasant WV (site of Mothman visits), is that they are now both tourist attractions:

i’ve been looking at his handwriting. very boyish, youthful. almost like he should have been left handed and became one of those righties who write “bacikhanded.”
he must have been so much fun.

John was left-handed! He used to talk about the difficulties of left-hand life — particularly trying to use right-hand scissors.
